With everything from wine & wireless to lumber, Monte McNaughton, one of the 3 owners along with his brother Mike, and Heather McVicar of the 3rd generation family business, calls it a "big-box image with a small-town feel". The store is located in Newbury, and with 5,575 sq. metres of space, supplies surrounding communities with hardware, cellphones, car parts, water heaters, building supplies, animal feed, paint, bathtubs...and beer. -St. Thomas builder Doug Tarry has been honoured by the Canadian Home Builders' Association. Doug Tarry Ltd. Won top accolades in the production home category for the Morello, a single-detached home under 1,500 sq. ft. and The Willow, a single detached over 2,200 sq. ft. John Hrynkow, CHBA president said " Winning a National SAM Award is the highest recognition of excellence in our industry." The award recognizes outstanding performance in design, technology, construction, marketing and sales.

-Sterling Crane, a Division of Procrane Inc., has acquired the assets of Cooper's Crane Rental Ltd., adding nine more facilities, and giving them a fleet in excess of 100 cranes. Congratulations to David Snyder and Paul Wright along with their team of experts, on extending their service capabilities to better serve their client companies.
RECOGNIZING THE INNOVATORS:
-Congratulations to GPSNET TECHNOLOGIES on being awarded the Ontario Chamber of Commerce 2007 Ontario Global Trader Award for their innovative contributions to the technical advancement of transportation companies across North America. Stuart Sutton, President, gives credit to his team. The company has 11 employees at its offices at 3290 Jefferson Blvd., offers customer management, fleet management, order entry, cell phone tracking and communication plus a host of other services. Subscribers to the company's Alliance Softtware modules are also able to share access to a much larger transportation fleet through an online system.
